CTV is dedicated to providing the students and organizations of Colorado State University with a forum to inform, educate, and entertain. This is accomplished through creating quality, student-produced television programming while maintaining a learning environment for students interested in television, broadcasting, production, and/or management.
Run by students, CTV operates as a part of Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation and exists (1) to provide students with an opportunity to engage in professional, hands-on television and video production and (2) to provide the CSU and Fort Collins community with interesting and engaging content.
Watch CTV11’s live broadcast every Monday through Thursday at 7pm on CSU TV Channel 11 (or channel 11 on the CSU campus) or stream live here. Occasionally, we run additional live and pre-recorded original content. All of our content is available on demand via YouTube.
CTV has something for everyone thanks to our wide variety of shows. Tuesdays and Thursdays consist of local news, sports, weather, and entertainment while our Monday show is all sports, all the time. On Wednesdays you can find a rotation of fun entertainment shows ranging from local music, cooking, interviews, politics, and more!

Jake Sherlock likes his music loud, his wrestling professional and his journalism available on-demand. He enjoys breaking news tweets, long reads, investigative reports, satirical spins, thoughtful columnists and hot sports takes.
Sherlock joined Rocky Mountain Student Media as the student media adviser in September of 2019. His primary duties are to help RMSMC students produce quality journalism that informs and enlights the CSU and Fort Collins communities. His secondary duties are to make sure the candy bowl is always filled. He’s much better at his primary duty than his secondary.
He holds a bachelor’s in journalism and a master’s in communications from the University of Wyoming. Sherlock was the editor of his college newspaper and held a variety of other writing, editing and photography positions within student media. He also spent more than 10 years working with student media at the Missouri School of Journalism and at Laramie County Community College.
Outside of student media, Sherlock has experience in print and web design, copy editing, public relations, marketing, reporting, sports writing and pizza delivery, but he’s really out of practice on the pizza thing.
