Colorado State University's 150th Anniversary Documentary with PBS
A full-length documentary about the history of Colorado’s land-grant university was produced in honor of Colorado State University’s 150th birthday. Courtney developed the campaign strategy for this documentary promotion, sharing it on essential Rocky Mountain Student Media platforms such as KCSU FM, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Google Adwords. Her YouTube PreRoll campaign was so successful that it reached a 39% view rate, over double the average rate of a successful YouTube ad. Not only was her work showcased on these platforms but she also wrote a sponsored article about the documentary featured on Collegian.com.
Below are examples of her campaign executed on social media and Google Adwords.
Boredom Buster Video Contest
Each year, we host an NCAA March Madness Bracket Buster contest and solicit local businesses to sponsor. After Covid-19 canceled the NCAA Basketball tournament, we launched a social media contest called “Boredom Buster 2020” to make sure our sponsors received a great deal of media exposure through a strategic marketing plan while also offering our followers a variety of prizes they could potentially win. The 2020 Boredom Buster Video contest encouraged people to submit fun videos made from home and then to submit those videos for others to vote on their favorites. It was a fun, interactive social media contest/promotion that generated successful results for our sponsors and followers. Courtney developed the campaign strategy, promotional content, and final report.

Ram Deals Coupon App
In 2019, we launched our very own brand-new digital coupon app called RAM DEALS. After soliciting over 50 businesses to participate and getting 400+ users to sign up. In 2020, we launched an aggressive social media marketing campaign to increase awareness about our RAM DEALS digital coupon app and to help our advertisers promote their coupon offers. In addition to an ongoing social media campaign, we also promoted RAM DEALS on the Collegian.com website, on our daily e-blast “The Stump”, on 90.5 KCSU-FM Radio, on YouTube and in the Rocky Mountain Collegian newspaper.
This is animated gif was developed in addition to the revamp of the Ram Deals coupon promotion. It is now featured on Collegian.com and our daily E-Newsletter, The Stump.
In addition to the 25 sec. general promotional video for the campaign, Courtney created promotional videos for the clients featured on the app.

Wilburs Total Beverage Fall Campaign
Courtney also developed a semester-long campaign for a local Fort Collins liquor store called Wilbur’s Total Beverage. Our ultimate goal was to develop unique content for the store that helped capture the eyes of college students and the local Fort Collins community. Here are some pieces of content she created for the campaign.
Below the content are a few screenshots of the Wilbur’s campaign executed on social platforms, along with captions she also wrote.
